Sharing the stage are a pair of Handel concerti grossi, a Purcell Fantasia for three violins and continuo, and Stravinsky's Danses concertates, a tuneful composition for chamber orchestra (later choreographed by Balanchine) that evokes the concerto grosso forms of the Baroque masters.
